The test that matters most for turmeric: lead (adulteration).

Lead gets into turmeric when lead chromate is added to brighten the colour. It has been found in South Asian turmeric, which is why buyers screen for it. So we test every lot for it before packing, at a third-party lab accredited by NABL to ISO/IEC 17025, against the limit your country sets. The test certificate ships with the lot.
